Yakutsk Oblast

Yakutsk is the capital and largest city of Sakha, Russia, located about south of the Arctic Circle. Fueled by the mining industry, Yakutsk has become one of Russia's most rapidly growing regional cities, with a population of 355,443 at the 2021 census.

Olyokminsk (; , Ölüöxüme) is a town and the administrative center of Olyokminsky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, southwest of Yakutsk, the capital of the republic. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 9,494.

Vilyuysk (; , Bülüü) is a town and the administrative center of Vilyuysky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, located on the Vilyuy River (left tributary of the Lena), about from Yakutsk, the capital of the republic. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 10,234.

Srednekolymsk (; , Orto Xalıma) is a town and the administrative center of Srednekolymsky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, located on the left bank of the Kolyma River, northeast of Yakutsk, the capital of the republic. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 3,525.
