Zwolle
Zwolle () is a city and municipality in the Northeastern Netherlands. It is the capital of the province of Overijssel and the province's second-largest municipality, after Enschede, and has a population of 132,441 as of December 2023. Zwolle borders the province of Gelderland and lies on the eastern side of the River IJssel.

Mastenbroek
Mastenbroek is a polder in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It lies north of the city of Zwolle. "Mastenbroek" is also the name of an hamlet, built around a church in the middle of the polder.

It covered the countryside around the city of Zwolle. Zwollerkerspel was a separate municipality from 1802 until August 1, 1967, when it became a part of Zwolle, Hasselt, Heino, IJsselmuiden and Genemuiden.
