Sotra
Sotra is the name of the largest island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located just west of the city of Bergen. It is part of a pair of islands called 'Sotra' and 'Litlesotra' () that are part of a large archipelago stretching from Fedje southwards along the coast of Norway. The larger of the two islands is Sotra which is sometimes called Store Sotra (), while Litlesotra is smaller and less populated of the two. Roughly 28,700 (2017) people live on the two islands of Sotra, with the larger island having a population of about 19,100 (2017) and 9,589 (2017) living on

Misje
Misje is an island (and village) in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies just south of the island of Toftøyna and north of the large island of Sotra. Almost all of the 320 inhabitants (as of 2023) live on the eastern part of the island, which is referred to as the village of Misje.
Klokkarvik
Klokkarvik is a village in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located on the southeastern part of the island of Sotra, approximately 40 minutes outside the city of Bergen. It lies along the coast of Sotra, at the confluence of the Raunefjorden, Fanafjorden, and Krossfjorden. The islands of Lerøyna and Bjelkarøyna lie just east off the coast of Klokkarvik.

Algrøyna
Algrøyna is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies just west of the large island of Sotra and north of the small island of Lokøyna. There are a series of bridges connecting it to the island of Sotra, which in turn is connected to the mainland. The highest point on the island is the tall mountain Hillefjellet. Almost all the 386 residents (in 2019) of the island live along the northern shore, in a village area that is referred to as Algrøyna.

Hjeltefjorden
Hjeltefjorden is a fjord in Vestland county, Norway. The long fjord runs north–south between many islands leading from the open ocean to the city of Bergen. It passes through the municipalities of Fedje, Øygarden, Alver, and Askøy. Its name is derived from Hjaltland, the Old Norse name for Shetland. The main shipping routes from Bergen to Shetland ran through Hjeltefjorden.

Hernar is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is one of the northernmost islands in the Øygarden archipelago. The island is rocky and barren. Most of the settlement is in one cluster on the southwestern part of the island along the small harbor area. The eastern third of the island is uninhabited.

Bildøy
Bildøyna is a small island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies between the islands of Litlesotra to the west and Store Sotra to the east. An upper secondary school and a lower secondary school are located on the island. In 2017, there were about 600 residents on the island. There is a Lutheran Bible school located on the island.
Raunefjorden
Raunefjorden is a strait (even though it is called a fjord) in Vestland county, Norway. The wide strait flows between the mainland Bergen Peninsula and the island of Sotra. Bergen Municipality is located on the east side on the mainland and Øygarden Municipality to the west on Sotra. The strait is bounded to the north by the islands of Bjorøyna and Tyssøyna and on the south by the islands of Bjelkarøyna and Lerøyna.
Litlesotra
Litlesotra (sometimes Lille Sotra) is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is part of the Sotra island group which makes up the southern part of a larger archipelago of islands from Fedje south through the Øygarden archipelago. The island has about 9,500 residents. The main settlement on the island is Straume. Other settlements include Knarrevik, Foldnes, and Brattholmen. The island is connected to the mainland via the Sotra Bridge. It is also connected to the large island of Sotra, via a series of bridges over the island of Bildøyna.

Skogsvågen is a village in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located on the eastern coast of the island of Sotra, just northeast of the village of Hammarsland. The village is the site of Sund senter (a shopping center), Skogsvåg kindergarten, Skogsvåg stadium for football and athletics, Sotra Upper Secondary School, and the Sund og Sundheimen nursing home.

Fedjefjorden
Fedjefjorden is a fjord in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the municipalities of Fedje, Austrheim, Alver, and Øygarden. The fjord has a width of about and extends about from Holmengrå Lighthouse (at the northern end) to the island of Seløyna (at the southern end) where it joins the Hjeltefjorden which flows further south towards the city of Bergen.

Seløyna
Seløyna is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island is the northernmost of the large populated islands in the Øygarden archipelago. It is connected to the island of Alvøyna by a short bridge over the Vikesundet strait. The small island of Førehjelmo lies just to the north of Seløyna, and there is a small bridge connecting to it.

Blomøyna is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies north of the island of Rongøyna and south of the island of Ona. The southern part of the island is split into two parts by the Blomvågen fjord which cuts northward for into the island. The village of Blomvåg surrounds the inner part of the Blomvågen fjord. Nearly all of the island's 638 residents (in 2017) live in Blomvåg. Blomvåg Church is located in the village.
Alvøy
Alvøyna is an island in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island is located west of the Hjeltefjorden and it had a population of 785 inhabitants in 2017. It sits just north of the island of Ona and just south of the island of Seløyna. The Sture Terminal, an oil terminal and endpoint of the Oseberg Transport System, was established here in 1988.

The island is connected by bridge to the island of Rongøyna (to the north), to the small island of Turøyna (to the southwest), and to the island of Misje (to the south). Toftøyna is connected to the mainland by a series of bridges by heading south via Misje island.
