A fragment of a copper-alloy with iron plate armour or lorica segmentata representing one half of a lobate hinge. The opposing half and the bronze pin that would have hinged the two halves is missing. The mount is an inverted pelta-shape with three lobes leading from the narrow tip of the pelta.
