Calligraphy album, by Mehmed Sa`id Berberzade. This album was created in Ottoman Istanbul, in 1733. The fine calligraphy was written out by a man who had studied under the master-calligrapher Mehmed Efendi (d. 1753), known as Şekerzade ("son of sugar") because his father was a confectioner.
