Geminiano Giacomelli (c.1692-1740) was an Italian composer. Born in Piacenza, Giacomelli studied singing, counterpoint, and keyboard in Parma with G.M. Capelli, maestro di cappella of the cathedral. From 1719 to 1727, and from 1732 to 1737, he was maestro di cappella of the court of Parma and the church of the Madonna della Steccata, jointly with Capelli; from 1727 to 1732 he held the same position at S Giovanni in Piacenza.
