Klaus Hoffmann started his career as a singer-songwriter during the late 1960s in the alternative Berlin club culture. After travelling to Afghanistan in 1968, he began training as an actor at the Berlin Max-Reinhardt-Schule für Schauspiel. Since 1974, Hoffmann has starred in several renowned theatre and television productions.
