== Distribution == The distribution of the genus Monacha includes western Europe, Central Europe, Mediterranean, Asia minor and Turkey (more than 50 species of Monacha), Georgia, Russia, Arabia, Iran, Azerbaijan (1 species). It is not in Armenia.
