
Three fragments of a plain woven, undyed linen cloth. The cloth is decorated with blue silk, embroidered in counted thread embroidery in double running stitch over two threads. The embroidered pattern shows a repeated motif of double headed birds and quadrupeds, possibly lions, above a narrow geometric band of repeated rectangles and S-shapes. The geometric patterned band is repeated further below. Thread count: 19/15 (Z/Z)
