
Fragment of a plain woven, undyed linen tunic, possibly a sleeve, with an applied band with decoration in red and blue silk counted-thread embroidery. The decoration consists of a repeated pattern of diagonals and squares, in black double running stitch and close herringbone stitch. Two strips of silk fabric have been applied along the edges of the band. Thread count: 17/16 (Z/Z)
