Etymology: From Latin corrigendum, nominative neuter singular of corrigendus, the future passive participle (gerundive) of corrigō (“to correct”).

1. An error that is to be corrected in a printed work after publication.
2. A list of errors in a printed work as a separate page of corrections. (The items thus listed will sometimes be corrected in subsequent print runs, if any occur; they are then called reprint corrections.)
