Etymology: From derm- + -o- + -graphy.

  1. A change in skin coloration in response to an irritating stimulus, such as scratching.

    In her, too, dermography could not be induced by the ordinary methods. It is therefore supposed that electric dermography may be added to the list of the vasomotor symptoms of Basedow's disease.

    Even the shortest neurological examination should include the test for dermography.
