Etymology: From peg + board.
- A board that has a pattern of holes into which pegs are fitted; used especially to record the score in some card games.
- A metal board attached to the base of a metal display unit (FSDU) from which shelves, hooks or bars are attached (when bars are attached, they subsequently have pegs clipped onto them)
- A perforated form of hardboard.
