verb

Etymology: From self- + isolate.

  1. To quarantine or isolate oneself from others, especially in order to avoid spreading a communicable disease.

However, in all cases, if you cancel and do not wish to rebook you lose the money. To me this seems rather unfair if, for example, the passenger is being told to self-isolate owing to age for several months and cannot select a future date.
