These species have fruit bodies (mushrooms) with free gills, a white spore print, and a ring on the stipe. Rugosospora was circumscribed by Belgian mycologist Paul Heinemann in 1973.

Nidula
Nidula is a genus of fungi in the family Agaricaceae. Their fruit bodies resemble tiny egg-filled birds' nests, from which they derive their common name "bird's nest fungi". Originally described in 1902, the genus differs from the related genera Cyathus and Crucibulum by the absence of a cord that attaches the eggs to the inside of the fruit body. The life cycle of this genus allows it to reproduce both sexually, with meiosis, and asexually via spores.

Chlorolepiota
Chlorolepiota is a genus of fungi in the family Agaricaceae. It is characterized by mushrooms with a macrolepiotoid habit, a pruinose yellow-greenish spore print, and the lack of clamp connections in the hyphae. The genus was circumscribed in 1979, with C. mahabaleshwarensis as the type and only species. C. indica was described in 2013, and C. brunneotincta in 2014. All species are found in India. The generic name Chlorolepiota is a portmanteau of Chlorophyllum and Macrolepiota, two closely related genera.
