The AeroPress is a manual coffeemaker invented by Alan Adler, founder of AeroPress, Inc. (formerly Aerobie Inc.). It consists of a cylindrical brewing chamber, a plunger with an airtight silicone seal, and a screw-on cap which holds a paper or mesh filter.
