Dictyosperma album
Dictyosperma is a monotypic genus of flowering plant in the palm family found in the Mascarene Islands in the Indian Ocean (Mauritius, Réunion and Rodrigues). The sole species, Dictyosperma album, is widely cultivated in the tropics but has been farmed to near extinction in its native habitat. It is commonly called princess palm or hurricane palm, the latter owing to its ability to withstand strong winds by easily shedding leaves. It is closely related to, and resembles, palms in the genus Archontophoenix. The genus is named from two Greek words meaning "net" and "seed" and the epithet is Lati
Iguanura
Iguanura is a genus of monoecious flowering plants in the palm family from Southeast Asia, commonly called pinang. Closely related to the Heterospathe palms, they are noted for producing a wide variety of fruit forms. Its name combines the Spanish word for "lizard" with the Greek word for "tail".
Hydriastele
Hydriastele is a diverse and widespread genus of flowering plant in the palm family found throughout northern Australia, Melanesia, Polynesia, and Southeast Asia. It consisted of just nine species until 2004, when molecular research, supported by morphologic similarities, led taxonomists to include the members of the Gulubia, Gronophyllum, and Siphokentia genera. About 40 species are now recognized.
Areceae
Areceae is a palm tree tribe in the family Arecaceae.
Heterospathe
Heterospathe is a monoecious genus of flowering plant in the palm family found in Oceania, where it is called sagisi palm. With 39 species, Heterospathe is named from a Greek combination of "various" and "spathe", which describes the two distinct bract types.

Dransfieldia micrantha
Dransfieldia is a monotypic genus of flowering plant in the palm family from western New Guinea where the lone species Dransfieldia micrantha grows in dense rain forest. Discovered in 1872, 134 years passed before DNA testing revealed its proper placement. With no close relatives, it is a delicate, pinnate-leaved palm named after John Dransfield, former palm expert at the Kew Royal Botanic Gardens.

Chrysalidocarpus
Chrysalidocarpus is a valid genus of African palms, family Arecaceae, first described by Hermann Wendland in 1878. The native range of species in this genus includes the Comoros, Madagascar and Pemba Islands, but some have been naturalised elsewhere as ornamental plants. Most species previously have been placed in the genus Dypsis, including the type species Chrysalidocarpus lutescens.
Vonitra
Vonitra is a valid genus of African palms, family Arecaceae, first described by Odoardo Beccari in 1906. Species are endemic to Madagascar and were previously placed in the genus Dypsis. The type species is Vonitra fibrosa.
