Geghard

Geghard (, meaning "spear") is a medieval monastery in the Kotayk province of Armenia, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status.

Katarovank (; ) is an Armenian Apostolic monastery in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan. It is located close to the village of Hin Tagher (Köhnə Tağlar). The monastery was founded in the 4th century, but the present structure was completed in the 17th century.

Bagavan
Bagavan (also spelled Bagawan; ) was an ancient locality in the central part of Armenia in the principality of Bagrevand. The site is located in the village of Taşteker to the west of modern Diyadin, Turkey. Situated on a tributary of the Euphrates at the foothills of Mount Npat, to the north of Lake Van, Bagavan held one of the major temples of pre-Christian Armenia. After the Christianization of Armenia, Bagavan became the site of a large church and monastery. Pillaged in 1877 by the Kurds, it was completely destroyed after 1915 during the Armenian genocide.

Bawit ( Bāwīṭ; Coptic: ⲡⲁⲩⲏⲧ Pavēt) is an archaeological site located north of Asyut, near the village of Dashlout, in Egypt. It covers an area of , and houses a cemetery and the ruins of the Hermopolite monastery of Apa Apollo founded by Apollo in the late fourth century. The structures on this site are relatively well preserved, and demonstrate different aspects of a monastic complex of Middle Egypt.
Pbow
Pbow was a cenobitic monastery established by St. Pachomius in 336-337 AD. Pbow is about north of Luxor in modern Upper Egypt. It was one of the nine Pachomian monasteries.
