Fossil taxa described in 2010

Psyllototus is an extinct genus of flea beetles described from the late Eocene Rovno amber of Ukraine, and from the Baltic amber of Russia and Denmark. It was named by Konstantin Nadein and Evgeny Perkovsky in 2010, and the type species is Psyllototus progenitor. In 2016, a newly described extant flea beetle genus from Bolivia, Chanealtica, was found to be most similar to Psyllototus, based on the characters available for observation.

Kelyophis (; meaning 'small serpent' from the Malagasy word kely (meaning "small") and the Greek word ὄφις (ophis, meaning "serpent")) is an extinct genus of nigerophiid snake which existed in Madagascar during the Late Cretaceous. The type species is Kelyophis hechti. Trunk vertebrae have been found from the Maastrichtian-age Maevarano Formation in the Mahajanga Basin. Kelyophis is similar to other nigerophiids in its small size (less than ), long centra with posterior surfaces that deflect slightly downward, tubercular-shaped neural spines that are directed toward the back of the neural arch

Akaimia is an extinct genus of carpet sharks which existed across Europe. Two species are known, the type species A. altucuspis from the middle or late Jurassic (Callovian or Oxfordian age) of Ogrodzieniec near Zawiercie, southern Poland, and A. myriacuspis, from the middle Jurassic (Callovian) of the Oxford Clay, near Peterborough. It was first named by Jan Rees in 2010.
