Jotunheimen
Jotunheimen (; "the home of the Jötunn") is a mountainous area of roughly in southern Norway and is part of the long range known as the Scandinavian Mountains. The 29 highest mountains in Norway are all located in the Jotunheimen mountains, including the tall mountain Galdhøpiggen (the highest point in Norway and Northern Europe). The Jotunheimen mountains straddle the border between Innlandet and Vestland counties (historically part of the old Oppland and Sogn og Fjordane counties).

Glittertinden (or historically Glittertind) is a mountain in Lom Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is the second highest mountain in Norway. It is located in the Jotunheimen mountains within Jotunheimen National Park. The mountain sits about southeast of the village of Fossbergom and about southwest of the village of Vågåmo. Gjertvasstind or Jervvasstind is Norway's ninth-highest mountain. The mountain lies in the Hurrungane mountains in the eastern part of Luster Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It lies on the eastern end of a mountain ridge including the mountains (west to east) Store Skagastølstind-Vetle Skagastølstind-Sentraltind-Store Styggedalstind-Gjertvvasstind. The village of Skjolden is located to the west.

It is the 10th highest summit in Norway. Sentraltind lies on a ridge between Storen-Vetle Skagastølstindane and Styggedalstindane-Gjertvasstind. The mountain is east of the village of Skjolden.

Gjende (Vang dialect form: Gjendin) is a lake in Vågå Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the Jotunheimen mountain range and also inside Jotunheimen National Park. The proglacial lake shows typical characteristics of glacial formation, being long and narrow, with steep walls. The lake is in length and only in width at the broadest point. 250px|thumb|Gjendebu Gjendebu is the oldest cabin of the Norwegian Mountain Touring Association (DNT). The cabin lies 995 metres above sea level, by the western end of the lake Gjende, central in Jotunheimen. It is accessible by hiking along marked trails, or by boat over Gjende from Gjendesheim. The cabin was built in 1871 and was at that time 45 m² and with 12 beds, today there are 119 beds.
