The tall mountain is located in the Jotunheimen National Park, just south of the lake Prestesteinsvatnet and the Sognefjellsvegen road. This mountain is located about north of the Skagastølstindane mountains (Storen, Vetle Skagastølstindane, Midtre Skagastølstindane, Sentraltind, Styggedalstindane, and Gjertvasstind).
