Lombok Island
Lombok is an island in West Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia. It forms part of the chain of the Lesser Sunda Islands, with the Lombok Strait separating it from Bali to the west and the Alas Strait between it and Sumbawa to the east. It is roughly circular, with a "tail" (Sekotong Peninsula) to the southwest, about across and a total area of about including smaller offshore islands. The provincial capital and largest city on the island is Mataram.

Flores Island
Flores is one of the Lesser Sunda Islands, a group of islands in the eastern half of Indonesia. Administratively, it forms the largest island in the East Nusa Tenggara Province. The area is 14,250 km2. Including Komodo and Rinca islands off its west coast (but excluding the Solor Archipelago to the east of Flores), the population was 1,878,875 in the 2020 Census (including various offshore islands); the official estimate as of mid-2024 was 2,014,110. The largest towns are Ende and Maumere. The name Flores is of Portuguese origin, meaning "Flowers".

Sumbawa Island
Sumbawa, is an Indonesian island, located in the middle of the Lesser Sunda Islands chain, with Lombok to the west, Flores to the east, and Sumba further to the southeast. Along with Lombok, it forms the province of West Nusa Tenggara, but there have been plans (currently held in abeyance) by the Indonesian government to split the island off into a separate province. Traditionally, the island is known as the source of sappanwood, as well as honey and sandalwood. Its savanna-like climate and vast grasslands are used to breed horses and cattle, as well as to hunt deer.

Rinca Island
Rinca is a small island near Komodo and Flores island, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, within the West Manggarai Regency. It is one of the three largest islands included in Komodo National Park. The island is famous for Komodo dragons, giant lizards that can measure up to long. Rinca is also populated with many other species such as wild pigs, buffalos and many birds.

Pantar Island
Pantar (; ) is the second largest island in the Indonesian Alor Archipelago, after Alor. To the east is the island of Alor and other small islands in the archipelago; to the west is the Alor Strait, which separates it from the Solor Archipelago. To the south is the Ombai Strait, and away, the island of Timor. To the north is the Banda Sea. Pantar is about north-to-south, and varies from in east–west width. It has an area of . The main towns on the island are Baranusa and Kabir. Administratively, the island is part of the Alor Regency.

Savu (, also known as Sabu, Havu, and Hawu) is the largest of a group of three islands, situated midway between Sumba and Rote, west of Timor, in Indonesia's eastern province, East Nusa Tenggara. Ferries connect the islands to Waingapu on Sumba, Ende on Flores, and Kupang in West Timor. Flying to Savu through Susi Air from Kupang, Ende, and Waingapu is also possible.

Horse-drawn carts in Indonesia have various regional names such as Dokar, Cidomo, Delman and Andong. Dokar is mostly used on Bali and cidomo on Lombok. The carriages are pulled by a single horse and are brightly colored with tassels and bells on the harness. Cidomos have pneumatic tyres and most of the others have wooden wheels. Most of the carriages seat up to four people, with two longitudinal bench seats in the rear, passengers facing each other, and entry from the rear.
