Matrix metalloproteinase inhibitors

Cipemastat (rINN, also known as Ro 32-3555 and by the tentative trade name Trocade) is a selective inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase-1 that has been investigated as an anti-arthritis agent. It is being developed by Roche.

Ilomastat (INN; development code GM6001; proprietary name Galardin) is a broad-spectrum matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor.

Tanomastat (development code BAY 12-9566) is a non-peptidic biphenyl inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), primarily studied for its potential to treat various types of cancer, including osteosarcoma and other malignancies.
