Reversopelma is a monotypic genus of spider in the family Theraphosidae. It is Theraphosine and is native to Peru and Ecuador. The single species is Reversopelma petersi.
Metriopelma
Metriopelma is a monotypic genus of Mexican tarantulas currently containing the single species, Metriopelma breyeri. It was first described by Léon Becker (1826–1909) in 1878, and originally found by Eugenio Dugès (1834–1895). This tarantula was named after Albert Breyer (1812–1876), a fellow entomologist. It is native to Mexico in the state of Guanajuato.

Gallon in 2010, and is found in Angola. The name is a combination of the Ancient Greek "xénos" (), meaning "foreign" or "strange", and the Latin "stridulere", meaning "to creak". It is a reference to the unusual form of the stridulatory organ that distinguishes it from other members of the subfamily Harpactirinae.
