Carrossel () is a Brazilian children's telenovela created by Íris Abravanel as a Brazilian remake of the Mexican telenovela Carrusel — itself inspired by the Argentinean telenovela Jacinta Pichimahuida, la Maestra que no se Olvida, written by Abel Santa Cruz. Originally broadcast on SBT from 21 May 2012 to 26 July 2013, it was particularly successful with children and led to several spin-offs including a cartoon series and television sitcom.

Rebelde (English: Rebel) is a Mexican teen drama and comedy telenovela produced by Pedro Damián for Televisa, broadcast by Canal de las Estrellas. and Univision in the USA. It was a remake of the 2002 Argentine telenovela Rebelde Way, created by Cris Morena. Rebelde originally aired from 4 October 2004 to 5 December 2006, being replaced with Las dos caras de Ana on 6 December . Univision aired Rebelde on weekdays afternoon at 3pm EST/ 2c starting on 21 March 2005 replacing Corazones al límite. El Gordo y La flaca would air after Rebelde at 4 pm EST/ 3 C

Argentine soap opera

Floricienta (; known in English as Flinderella) is an Argentine children's musical soap opera based on the Cinderella story. It originally aired between 2004 and 2005 on Canal 13 and has since been broadcast in more than 40 countries in Latin America, Israel, and various parts of Europe, becoming an international phenomenon for children and teenagers around the world. International networks that have broadcast Floricienta include Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, and Jetix. It was also available on Sky UK's satellite programming.
