Squillidae
Squillidae is a family of mantis shrimp, the only family in the superfamily Squilloidea. The type genus is Squilla. It is the stomatopod family with the most genera, as follows:

Squilla
Squilla is a genus of mantis shrimp found in marine habitats in tropical and sub-tropical climates all over the world, such as the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean sea. They are often caught unintentionally by fisheries in their climate, and they are not used for human food or fish meal, though valuable compounds such as chitin and chitosan can be extracted from their shells. The genus first appeared in the fossil record 145 million years ago.

Odontodactylus
Odontodactylus (from Ancient Greek ὀδούς (odoús), meaning "tooth", and δάκτυλος (dáktulos), meaning "finger") is a genus of mantis shrimp, the only genus in the family Odontodactylidae. Mantis shrimp of the genus Odontodactylus can not only detect circular polarisation of light, but can also detect polarised light reflecting off their telson and uropods.

Oratosquilla oratoria

Gonodactylidae
Gonodactylidae is a family of mantis shrimp. It contains these genera:
Gonodactylaceus Manning, 1995
Gonodactylellus Manning, 1995
Gonodactyloideus Manning, 1984
Gonodactylolus Manning, 1970
Gonodactylopsis Manning, 1969
Gonodactylus Berthold, 1827
Hoplosquilla Holthuis, 1964
Hoplosquilloides Manning, 1978c
Neogonodactylus Manning, 1995

Gonodactylus
Gonodactylus is a genus of mantis shrimp, containing the following species:

Parasquillidae

Parasquillidae is a family of mantis shrimp containing the three genera Faughnia, Parasquilla and Pseudosquillopsis. It was previously included in the superfamily Gonodactyloidea, but that group was found to be paraphyletic, and a new superfamily, Parasquilloidea was erected.

Neogonodactylus
Neogonodactylus is a genus of mantis shrimp. The genus was first described in 1995 by Raymond Manning. Neogonodactylus species are well known for having sophisticated visual systems that allow them to detect UV light; this ability is essential to their communication and foraging strategies in their dynamic coral reef environments. (Ultraviolet vision in Larval Neogonodactylus oerstedii, n.d.). Neogonodactylus oerstedii, the mantis shrimp, homing to burrow is via a combination of path integration and landmark recognition. Path integration ensures a direct home return by measuring distance trave
Bathysquillidae
Bathysquillidae is a family of mantis shrimp. It contains two genera and three species. The family was described by Raymond Manning in 1967.
Nannosquillidae
Nannosquillidae is a family of stomatopods, comprising the following genera:
Lysiosquillidae
The Lysiosquillidae or banded mantis shrimps are a family of mantis shrimp, comprising some of the largest known mantis shrimp species. The most common and best known species is Lysiosquillina maculata, the zebra mantis shrimp.

Eurysquillidae
Eurysquillidae is a family of mantis shrimp. Formerly placed in the superfamily Gonodactyloidea, it has since been recognised that eurysquillids are closer to families in the Squilloidea, and so Eurysquillidae has been placed in its own superfamily, Eurysquilloidea. The family was first described in 1977 by Raymond Manning.

Pseudosquillidae
The Pseudosquillidae are a family of mantis shrimp containing four genera and 11 species.
Hemisquilla
Hemisquilla is a genus of mantis shrimp, and the only genus in the family Hemisquillidae. It contains four species distributed in Australia and the Americas. Species in the genus typically eat snails, fish, rock oysters, and smaller crustaceans like crabs. They are preyed upon by larger bony fishes and cephalopods. It is the most basal living mantis shrimp lineage, and the sister group to all other mantis shrimp.
Gonodactylaceus
Gonodactylaceus, is a genus of mantis shrimp. The genus was first described in 1995 by Raymond Brendan Manning and contains the following species:

Lysiosquilla
Lysiosquilla is a genus of mantis shrimp of the family Lysiosquillidae, containing these species:
Neogonodactylus oerstedii
