Ghoomar or ghumar is a traditional folk dance of Rajasthan. It was the Bhil tribe who performed it to worship Goddess Saraswati which was later embraced by Rajputs. The dance is chiefly performed by veiled women who wear flowing dresses called ghaghara. The dance typically involves performers pirouetting while moving in and out of a wide circle. The word ghoomna describes the twirling movement of the dancers and is the basis of the word ghoomar.

Gangaur (, ) is a Hindu festival celebrated in the Indian states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Fazilka District of Punjab, the regions of Malwa, Nimar (Manawar, Barwani, Khargone, Khandwa) of Madhya Pradesh and the Braj and Bundelkhand regions of Uttar Pradesh. It is also celebrated in some parts of Gujarat and West Bengal. A variation of the same festival known as Chaitra Gauri Vrat is observed on the same day in the states of Maharashtra and northern Karnataka. Another variation called Saubhagya Gauri Vratam is observed in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Tecomella undulata is a tree species found in Oman and from southwest Iran to northwest India. It is the only species in the monotypic genus Tecomella. It is a medium-sized tree that produces quality timber and is the main source of timber amongst the indigenous tree species of desert regions of Shekhawati and Marwar in the Indian state of Rajasthan where it is locally known as rohida and serves as the state symbol.
