Pteropelyx (meaning "winged pelvis") is a dubious genus of Late Cretaceous hadrosaurid dinosaur from the Judith River Formation of Montana, named by Edward Drinker Cope in 1889. Historically, several species were assigned to it, all based on extremely fragmentary remains, but there is no evidence to support these assignments, making the type species, P. grallipes, the only valid species. Most of these other species' remains likely belong to better-known hadrosaurs, such as Lambeosaurus and Gryposaurus. Pneumatoarthrus is an extinct genus of sea turtle known from the Late Cretaceous (early Maastrichtian) Mount Laurel Formation of Monmouth County, New Jersey. Many experts consider Pneumatoarthrus a senior synonym of Archelon. If this classification is correct, it would have reached 4-5 meters in length with a fin span of up to 5 meters, and weighed over 2.3 tons. Only a single species, P. peloreus, is known.

Erismatopterus is an extinct genus of percopsiform fish which lived during the early to middle Eocene epoch and containing the single species Erismatopterus levatus. A report of the genus in sediments of similar age in Washington State have been discredited. Erismatopterus is treated as part of the family Percopsidae, but formerly was the type genus of the extinct family Erismatopteridae. The genus is closely related to Amphiplaga of related lake sediments. Shoaling behavior has been reported from a mass mortality fossil of E. levatus and attributed as a predator-evasion response behavior.
