Tyin
Tyin is a lake in Vang Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The lake is located in the southwest part of the Jotunheimen mountain range. The lake lies in Vang Municipality in Innlandet county, but a small portion of the lake extends into Årdal Municipality in Vestland county. The western border mostly follows the border between Vang and Årdal, but there are some areas where the lake crosses over the boundary. The lake serves as a reservoir for the Tyin Hydroelectric Power Station and the water level is regulated between above sea level. The lake has a reservoir capacity of .
Helin
Helin is a lake which lies in Vang Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The southeastern shore of the lake forms the municipal border with neighboring Vestre Slidre Municipality. The lake is regulated for power production by the nearby Åbjøra hydroelectric power station.

Vangsmjøse
Vangsmjøse is a lake in Vang Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The lake has an area of and it has a maximum depth of about deep. A local myth says that if a raw ham is lowered into the deepest part of Vangsmjøse, it will be boiled when it is pulled back up. The lake sits at an elevation of above sea level and it has a shoreline measuring about around.
Vinstre
Vinstre is a lake in Innlandet county, Norway. The lake lies in Øystre Slidre Municipality and the very western tip of the lake crosses over into the neighboring Vang Municipality. The lake sits at an elevation of above sea level. Vinstre was regulated in connection with the construction of the Øvre Vinstra hydroelectric power plant. The lake Bygdin flows into this lake and on the opposite end, it flows out into the dammed lake Sandvatnet/Kaldfjorden/Øyvatnet which is the headwaters for the river Vinstra.
Filefjell
Filefjell is a mountainous area in Norway. It is located in an area where three counties meet. It lies between Lærdal Municipality in the Vestland county in the west and Vang Municipality in Innlandet county in the east and it lies north of Hemsedal Municipality in Buskerud county. It is the historical, as well as modern, main route, linking Western Norway and Eastern Norway. The European route E16 highway passes through Filefjell.

Ryfoss
Ryfoss is a village in Vang Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located along the river Storåne, just west of the lake Slidrefjorden. The European route E16 highway runs through the village, heading west through the Filefjell mountains on the way to the west coast of Norway. The medieval Høre Stave Church is located about to the northwest of the village and the village of Hensgardane lies about to the northwest of Ryfoss. The village has some industry, including a sawmill, a concrete goods factory, as well as a small shopping centre.
