The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Tverrfjellet, Skoddetinden, and Kljåkinnknippene to the northwest; Ørnenøse to the southwest; Storebottegge to the south; Rankonøse and Ranastongi to the southeast; and Grindane to the east.
