Aars
Aars or Års, () is a Danish town with a population of 8,708 (1 January 2025) in Himmerland, Denmark. Administratively, Aars is the municipal seat of Vesthimmerland Municipality and biggest town of Vesthimmerland Municipality, Region Nordjylland since 2007 and it was also the seat of the mayor in the now abolished Aars Municipality. The town was founded in the 14th century. It is one of the four principal towns of Vesthimmerland, the other ones being Farsø, Løgstør and Aalestrup. Aars is a former railway town. It is currently the 77th largest city in Denmark just behind Nivå but in front of Løg

Aalestrup is a town in Vesthimmerland Municipality with a population of 2,763 (1 January 2025) in Region Nordjylland in Denmark.
Farsø
Farsø is a town with a population of 3,352 (1 January 2025) in Region Nordjylland in Denmark in the Vesthimmerland Municipality. Farsø was the birthplace of Johannes Vilhelm Jensen, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1944. The village of Vognsild is located to the east of Farsø. Farsø is also called one of the head cities of Vesthimmerland Municipality along with Aars, Løgstør and Aalestrup.
Livø
Livø () is a 320-hectare Danish island located in the central body of the Limfjord, approximately midway between Nykøbing Mors, Løgstør, Fjerritslev and Thisted. As of 2022, the island has 6 year-round residents.
Løgstør
Løgstør is a town in Denmark with a population of 3,969 (1 January 2025) It is located 47 km west of Aalborg and 64 km north of Viborg. Løgstør's city centre consists of old streets with small houses built in the 19th century for fishermen and sailors. One of these houses was donated by Danish housemen to the author and poet Johan Skjoldborg (1861 - 1936) in 1918, who lived in the house until his death. It is located on Johan Skjoldborgs Vej.
Overlade
Overlade is a village in western Himmerland, Denmark, with a population of 396 (1 January 2025), located 12 km north from Farsø, 16 km south of Løgstør, 3 kilometers from the Limfjord and seven kilometers south of Ranum. The village is located in the North Denmark Region and belongs to Vesthimmerland Municipality.

Gedsted
Gedsted is a small town in Himmerland with a population of 874 (1 January 2025), located in Gedsted parish. The town belongs to the municipality of Vesthimmerland Municipality and is located in the North Denmark Region. The town is located on a hillside near Louns Bredning around 10 km south of Farsø. Gedsted's annual town party is organized by the Cooperative Associations and is called "Gedeskæg". The town also have a school Gedsted school.

Vognsild
Vognsild is a village in western Himmerland with a population of 228 (1 January 2025), located six kilometers east of Farsø and nine kilometers west of Aars. The nearest village is Østrup four kilometers east of Vognsild. The village is located in the North Denmark Region and belongs to Vesthimmerland Municipality. The village has a church and a club house. Vognsild also has a sports and ball club.

Hvalpsund
Hvalpsund is a ferry port in Himmerland with a population of 621 (1 January 2025), located 20 km west of Aalestrup, 12 km southwest of Farsø and 25 km southwest of Aars. The town belongs to the municipality of Vesthimmerland Municipality and is located in the Region Nordjylland.
Ranum
Ranum is a town in the former municipality of Løgstør and Vesthimmerland Municipality in Denmark. It is the fifth largest town in Vesthimmerland Municipality and is situated approximately 3 km from the inlet Limfjorden and 1 hour from the two major cities Aalborg and Viborg. Ranum has a population of 950 (1 January 2025).
