10cc is an English art rock and pop band. Initially comprised of four musicians - Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley and Lol Creme - who had written and recorded together for some three years, before assuming the "10cc" name in 1972 - two strong song-writing teams, injected sharp wit to lyrically-dextrous songs. 10cc ist das erste Album der englischen Rock-Band 10cc unter ihrem neuen Namen. Es wurde in den Strawberry Studios in Stockport aufgenommen. Das Album erreichte Platz 36 der britischen Charts. Es wurden die drei Lieder Donna, Rubber Bullets und The Dean and I als Singles ausgekoppelt, welche in Großbritannien alle die Top-Ten der Charts erreichten, einschließlich Rubber Bullets, das auf Platz eins kam. Auch in den flämischen und niederländischen Charts waren einige Titel erfolgreich. Der anschließende Titel Fresh Air for My Mama war eine Überarbeitung von You Didn’t Like It Because You Didn’t Think of It, der B-Seite von Neanderthal Man, das wiederum ein internationaler Hit der Band unter ihrem früheren Namen Hotlegs gewesen war.
