1664

I don't have sufficient context to write an accurate overview of "1664." To provide a 2-sentence explanation of what "1664" is and why it matters, I would need additional information about whether this refers to a historical event, a book, a musical work, a scientific discovery, or something else entirely. Could you provide more context?
