1) A.W.O.L. were hardcore/punk band from New Windsor, New York active around 1988-1990. They released two demo tapes and a 7" entitled "Vision". Members went on to form All Out War. 2) Absent Without Leave (A.W.o.L.) was founded in 1996 as a short-lived video project which concentrated on producing tiny videoclips set to music by the likes of early 80’s synthpop pioneers like John Foxx, Gary Numan, Fad Gadget or The Twins. 3) A.W.O.L.
