==Inhabitants== According to the list of Galmudug Assembly members released in June 2015, Abudwak is represented by Marehan. It is inhabited by various Somali clans, with Sade Darod the most dominant. The town acts as a transit point for truckers and travellers due to its location at the border between Ethiopia and Somalia, beside Dollo Zone.
