Acroloxus ist die namengebende Gattung der Familie Acroloxidae, kleine, luftatmende Lungenschnecken (Pulmonata) aus der Unterordnung der Wasserlungenschnecken (Basommatophora). Acroloxus (gr.: „schiefe Spitze“) ist mit der Flussnapfschnecke Ancylus fluviatilis nicht nahe verwandt.
