Alberto Bernard (2023) identifies the general with Wahrām ī Nām-xwāst-Husraw Ādurmāhān, Spahbed of Nēmrōz, known from stamped clay sealings, and the "vizier Bahrām-e Āḏarmāhān" in Muslim sources.
