Adigrat (Tigrinya ዓዲግራት ) ist eine Stadt in der Region Tigray in Äthiopien und Sitz des Bistums Adigrat. Die Stadt liegt rund 80 km nördlich von Mek´ele nahe der Grenze zu Eritrea und ist damit ein wichtiges Tor zum Roten Meer. Die Stadt war früher Residenzstadt. Reste zweier Schlösser, eines von Dej Desta und ein weiteres von Ras Sebhan, sind noch vorhanden. Heute ist Adigrat Hauptstadt der Landschaft Agame.
