Afmadù
Sign in to saveAfmadow () is a city in southern Somalia, located in the middle of the Juba region and bordered by Kenya, Badhadhe, Kismayo, Jamame, Jilib, Hagar, Bardhere and Elwaq in Somalia, it's 401 km southwest of the capital Mogadishu. It is home to a wide variety of wild animals, including the Big Five game animals. The vegetation in Afmadow consists of rich grassland, bounded by semi-desert. It is located northwest of Kismayo. The distance between Afmadow and Kismayo is 110 kilometers or 68 miles.

Afmadù (in lingua somala: Afmadoow o Afmadow), è un villaggio nella Somalia meridionale situato al centro della regione dell'Oltregiuba la quale confina con il Kenya e le province somale di , Chisimaio, Giamama, Gelib, Hagar, Bardera e El Uach. Dista 620 km a sud della capitale Mogadiscio. È centro amministrativo dell'omonimo distretto di Afmadù.Ospita un grande varietà di specie animali incluso il Big Five Game.La vegetazione consiste in una ricca zona di prateria legata comunque al semi-deserto in cui Afmadù si trova. La maggior parte dei residenti di Afmadù fa parte del clan dell'Ogaden.
