Agabar is a sizeable town in the Maroodi Jeex region of Somaliland. It is located in the northeastern side of Gabiley District.
==Demographics== <The total population of Agabar is estimated at 12,974 with the majority belonging to the Somali ethnic group. The town is traditionally inhabited by communities from the Reer Maxamed and Bahabar Aadan, both of which are sub-clans of the Maxamed Case lineage within the wider Gadabuursi clan family, Also Habr Awal subclan of isaaq clan reside the area.
