『アレスタ』は、1988年にセガ・マークIII向けに発売されたコンパイル開発のコンピュータゲーム。 本作発売以降はシリーズ化され（以下「アレスタシリーズ」）、機能追加版や続編が8タイトル、海外および関連作品4タイトルが1993年までに発売された後、空白期間を経て2020年に新作が発売されている。 開発元のコンパイルは2004年に破産廃止し、企業としては消滅したため、本作を含めたアレスタシリーズの知的財産権は、アイキ、D4エンタープライズを経て、現在は有限会社エムツーが保有している。 なお一部アレスタシリーズに関しても本項で述べる。
