Encyclopedic overview
Algoma (/ælˈɡoʊmə/ al-GOH-mə) is a city in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 3,243 at the 2020 census. It is located on Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Ahnapee River, 30 miles (48 km) east of Green Bay.
