Von 2003 bis 2011 war er zudem in der Super GT aktiv und entschied dort 2006 und 2009 die Meisterschaft für sich. Von 2012 bis 2016 trat er außerdem in der FIA-Langstrecken-Weltmeisterschaft (WEC) an, in der er 2012 Weltmeister wurde. 2011, 2012 und 2014 gewann er das 24-Stunden-Rennen von Le Mans. 2014 nahm er zudem an einem Rennen der Formel-1-Weltmeisterschaft teil.
