Andrew John Hurley (born May 31, 1980 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is most notable as the drummer of the Chicago-based band Fall Out Boy. Prior to Fall Out Boy, Hurley drummed in Project Rocket. After his father passed away at age five, Andy was brought up in the Midwest by his nurse mother. Over time, Hurley became a strict vegan and an adherent to the straightedge style of living.
