Arbon ist eine politische Gemeinde und der Hauptort des gleichnamigen Bezirks im Kanton Thurgau in der Schweiz. Die Ortschaft liegt am Bodensee und ist aus touristischer Sicht vor allem wegen ihrer Altstadt und ihrer Seepromenade bekannt. Als Wahrzeichen der Stadt gelten Schloss und Schlossturm. Arbon hat römische Wurzeln und hiess ursprünglich Arbor Felix (lateinisch glücklicher Baum). Heute ist Arbon nach Frauenfeld und Kreuzlingen die drittgrösste Stadt des Kantons. Bis 1997 bildeten die Ortsgemeinden Arbon und Frasnacht die Munizipalgemeinde Arbon.
