Arshaluys

Arshaluys (, until 1935 Kyorpalu) is a village in the Armavir Province of Armenia. It is located 14 km north-east from the regional center. It is located on the right bank of the Kasagh River. The city is about 19 km from Yerevan. The settlement is 860 meters above sea level. It has a direct road to Vagharshapat and Yerevan.

== History == The ancestors of the inhabitants migrated from Ani in 1828–1829, and some came from Yerevan. The Armavir region and the Ararat region were part of the Ayrarat province in the ancient Kingdom of Armenia.
