Arturo Sandoval is a Cuban American jazz trumpeter, pianist and composer. Sandoval, while still in Cuba, was influenced by jazz musicians Charlie Parker, Clifford Brown, and Dizzy Gillespie, finally meeting Gillespie later in 1977.
