==Location and connectivity== It is in the eastern end of Kollam district on National Highway 744 at about away from Tenkasi and away from Punalur. The village is well connected with Punalur, Kollam, Tenkasi and Thiruvananthapuram through both Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation and Kerala State Road Transport Corporation.
