Atilla Engin (1946 - 2 November 2019) was a Turkish composer, percussionist and drummer. He performed and recorded in Istanbul, before moving to Copenhagen, Denmark in 1974 where he formed Matao and Atilla Engin Group. Moved to USA in 1989 and formed New World Orchestra and The Istanbul Orchestra. In 2005 Engin moved to Brazil where he formed Brazil New World Orchestra.
