Audioslave was an American rock supergroup formed in Glendale, California, in 2001. The band consisted of Chris Cornell from Soundgarden on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, along with Tom Morello on lead guitar, Tim Commerford on bass and backing vocals, and Brad Wilk on drums, all formerly members of Rage Against the Machine.
